POLICE are appealing for help in tracing the owners of a child’s quad bike and fishing gear that were found with a stolen mobility scooter.
A mobility scooter worth £880 and scooter batteries were stolen outside the mobility store on the corner of The Nursery and Avon Terrace, Devizes, between 9am and 4pm on Friday, July 25.
Police stopped a van on Sunday and the mobility scooter was found with a child’s blue quad bike, a child’s motorcycle helmet and a child-sized plastic motorbike body protector.
A 31-year-old man from Devizes and a 40-year-old woman from Melksham were arrested and have been released on bail.
