Can you pick up the baton in Marlborough?
Marlborough Concert Orchestra needs a new conductor to replace long-standing conductor Christopher Irby, who has retired, from January 2015.
A presentation will be made to Mr Irby, who played cello with a number of musicians including Danny Kaye and Antal Dorati, at the next concert on December 6 to thank him. Details of the appointment process are at www.mco.org
