THE winner of the Gazette & Herald token collection competition has been announced and will now pocket a cool £250.
Chris Flockhart, of Wenhill Heights, Calne had to collect three tokens, cut them out and send them in to the paper to win after which she was selected at random.
Mrs Flockhart, posing with her husband Dave Flockhart, has been telling the Gazette what she is planning to do with her winnings.
She said: “We are going to give some to our daughter and son, the rest towards a holiday.
“I tend to enter the competitions in the Wilts Gazette, you never think you will win so it is nice when you do.
“We have been reading the Gazette & Herald since we were married in 1974. Our family have always bought the paper.
“It is just nice to find out about local things going on in the town. We look at the sports pages especially Calne Town FC. We also like to look at the eating out reviews.”
