Q&A on EU Referendum with MEPs, 7pm, St. Peter’s Church, High Street, Marlborough. Free. Members of the audience will be invited to ask questions to two members of the European Parliament for the South-West: Dr Molly Scott Cato - a Green Party MEP campaigning for a ‘Greener In’ and Dr Julia Reid, a UKIP MEP campaigning to ‘Leave’. Swindon - Then and Now photographic exhibition, 10am, STEAM - Museum of the GWR, Fire Fly Avenue, Swindon. Free with entry to the Museum. 01793 466646. Using a rich array of photographs from STEAM’s collection, along with images from Swindon Museum & Art Gallery and the Swindon Local Studies Library, the exhibition charts the change in the town’s urban landscape. 

Basset Down Golf Course, near Wroughton, is is offering families a ‘hole’ lot of fun in the shape of new sporting facilities this bank holiday and half term. It has extended its existing football golf course with an additional six holes, making it the only course of its kind in Swindon. The 12-hole course allows players of all ages to combine the skills of football with the rules of golf, using a standard football. The aim of the game is for players to kick their balls into enlarged holes using just their feet, taking the fewest possible shots. Prices for a round of football golf start at £10 per adult and £6 per child, with £1 cost for ball hire. The course also offers a family discount for £25, or £32 for a group of four adults. Among the exhibits will be previously unseen photographs of the royal family together with a wealth of printed material of royal events.
