The Land Rover which has served two future Kings and a future Queen will be auctioned off this week by Sun Screen IT to benefit a Calne military charity.

Stand Down, a new military charity which provides free online psychological help to active military personnel, has been named as a joint beneficiary of the The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge's personal vehicle which has been valued at more than £150,000.

Kyna Jeng, CEO of Wiltshire-based Stand Down said: "“This is magnificent gesture by Nathaniel Comer, partner of our official Patron, Keavy Lynch, of the B*witched pop group, who is now a qualified humanistic counsellor with her own practice.

"Both have been major supporters since our launch earlier this year, and we very much appreciate being chosen as a recipient so that we can develop and extend our free online service to more of our forces suffering from mental trauma."

The 4.4ltr turbo diesel Range Rover Vogue SE, which transported Prince George from St Mary's Hopsital on July 22 three years ago, will be sold on Friday, August 19.

Mrs Jeng added: "We know that Prince William and Prince Harry, together with the Duchess of Cambridge, through their Heads Together campaign, share the same message as us about unresolved mental health problems destroying families and lives.

"We thank Nathaniel for this fitting support which he has gifted to us.”
