A FIVE-YEAR-OLD girl was treated for minor injuries following a two car crash in Chippenham.
The incident happened at the mini-roundabout at the bottom of Station Hill on Friday (August 26), when a white Vauxhall Astra and black Ford Fiesta Zetec collided with each other at 9.15am.
The girl, who was in the Vauxhall with her mum and dad from Lyneham, suffered minor cuts to her legs and redness on her left shoulder where the seatbelt was but she was treated at the scene by paramedics.
The female driver of the Ford, from Chippenham, was treated for shock at the scene.
PCSO Sarah Moth said: “I would like to thank members of the public who helped care for the occupants of the vehicles following the accident and for also pushing one of the cars out of the way and clearing glass from the road.”
The vehicles were recovered by 10am but traffic was queuing in both directions at the New Road junction during this time.
