Wilcot cruised to a comfortable five-wicket win over Beehive Bradford in a Wiltshire League Divison 4 clash after a strong bowling performance skittled the visitors for just 101 inside 28 overs.
Only Spong (32) showed much character for Beehive Bradford, playing strokes all round the wicket. All Wilcot's bowlers picked up wickets, with Julian Gilbey (5-29) the main beneficiary.
Jim Burns' many variations helped him pick up two wickets in an over, while Wren (2-21) also realised the benefits of bowling straight.
Chasing 102, Wilcot got off to a brisk start against an opening spin attack.
Burns (41) again led from the front before needlessly running himself out.
After a brief flurry of wickets, Richard Abbot (22) and Gilbey (21 not out) ensured that the home side strolled home with more than 17 overs to spare.
