MARLBOROUGH slipped to another defeat on Saturday but captain Nick Crabbe is still thinking of the bigger picture.
They sit second from bottom in the Glos/Wilts Division and need a dramatic improvement in form to save their season.
"We have got a number of games which we have targeted to win, this was not one of them, but it was frustrating because we got ourselves into a really good position," said Crabbe.
"After drinks we were 80-1 needing 110 off the last 27 overs but after I was out we lost three wickets for five runs.
"We have not batted well all season and it is what has been letting us down."
Crabbe was bowled for 49 as Charlie Langton (32), Richard Holman (49no) and Nathan Morgan (15no) tried, unsuccessfully, to chase the runs down.
Earlier in the day an impressive display in the field saw Tom Wallbridge take 4-26 with Ben Head (3-43), Morgan (1-25) and Holman (1-27) bowling second place Warminster out.
It doesn't get any easier for Crabbe's men as they host top of the table Biddestone on Saturday.
"We can give them a good game," he said. "Last time it was very close between us and if we are on form, hopefully we can upset them."
