Wiltshire College have closed all four of their campuses due to heavy snowfall posing a risk to commuters.
The campuses, at Chippenham, Trowbridge, Salisbury and Lackham will remain closed for the rest of Wednesday, March 8.
A small number of staff will be present on site to assist students who have already made their way into college.
A spokesperson for the college said: “Due to continuing snowy conditions and difficult driving conditions in some areas, all Wiltshire College and University campuses are closed today (Wednesday, March 8, 2023).
“For any students who are already making their way to campus, there will be a small number of staff on site to help them.”
The college did not confirm if the closure will extend past today.
