A woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a quad bike crash on the Wiltshire border.
The incident happened in Shipton Moyne - between Malmesbury and Tetbury - on Saturday (December 23).
The woman, in her 20s, is believed to have fallen off a quad bike that overturned on Whitehouse Lane shortly after 2pm.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance transported the woman to Southmead Hospital in Bristol and she remains there today (Christmas Eve)
A man believed to have made off from the scene on a quad bike was later found and arrested following a search involving the police helicopter.
A second man was also later arrested.
The pair, aged 29 and 30 and from the Cotswolds, remain in police custody in connection with the incident.
The road was reopened at around 10pm after a collision investigation.
