SWINDON Town have confirmed that goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux has joined the club on a three-year deal from Premier League side Liverpool.

The Chile U20 international spent most of last season on loan at the County Ground with chairman Lee Power determined to bring the stopper in on a permanent basis.

The 22-year-old, who began his career at Tottenham Hotspur, has joined for an undisclosed fee, thought to be in the region of £400,000.

Vigouroux, who nearly saw his time in Wiltshire cut short last term after paying a £50 club fine in one pence pieces, made 36 appearances for Town before injury ended his stay.
