ON SUNDAY, Miren (Minety and Cirencester) U18s travelled to Cinderford to play a combined Cinderford and Berry Hill side.
After a slow start, punctuated by numerous injuries Miren finally got into their game with a score from scrum-half Amie Stephenson.
Miren’s forwards began to dominate the game and further tries came from Jess Salles and Amelia Buckland-Hurry with Stephenson getting a second.
Megan Sanders slotted a conversion leaving Miren with a comfortable 22-0 half time lead.
In the second half Miren’s domination continued.
Excellent support play among the forwards was capitalised on by the backs with tries from Jenney Benton (3) and Salles adding two more to her total, Sanders adding four conversions.
